Rayon Labs Set to Launch AI Agent Platform Powered by Decentralized Infrastructure

Rayon Labs, the company behind innovative AI projects Nineteen.ai, Chutes.ai, and Gradients.io, has announced the release of their AI Agent Platform. The platform, fully powered by decentralized infrastructure, launched yesterday on March 20th, according to a post on X.

The global team at Rayon Labs has been developing next-generation products on Bittensor, which they describe as "the world's incentivized intelligence network." Their portfolio includes Nineteen.ai, which provides the fastest decentralized inference; Chutes.ai, a serverless AI compute platform allowing anyone to deploy, run, and scale AI models in seconds; and Gradients.io, a service enabling users to train state-of-the-art image and text models.

Rayon Labs has established itself as a key player in the Bittensor ecosystem, currently building Subnets 19, 56, and 64. Their work has received high praise from Bittensor's co-founder, who commented: "Never thought it would be possible on Bittensor, but here we are—miners on Subnet 56 (Gradients) outpacing every centralized competitor in AutoML. Somehow, these miners have mastered techniques even the subnet designers don't fully understand."

The co-founder further emphasized the significance of Rayon Labs' achievements: "In one move, Bittensor ML inference becomes the fastest and the only verifiably secure, trustless, and private ML platform worldwide. Don't trust—verify, in both practice and usability."

Keith Singery, an influencer and podcaster in the Bittensor ecosystem, described a recent novelty search demonstration by Rayon Labs as "the single most bullish 90 minutes in the history of Bittensor since subnets were announced," noting interesting timing parallels between key launches and solstices.

In a significant development for the platform, Rayon Labs has partnered with Macrocosmos, another company within the Bittensor ecosystem. Macrocosmos announced they will support Rayon Labs' new agent platform, called Squad, through Subnet 1 (Apex) and Subnet 13 (Data Universe).

Macrocosmos highlighted how this collaboration will enhance the agent platform: "Agents are the next wave of AI, but they're only as good as the models within them. SN1, Apex is the first and best chain-of-thought reasoning model on Bittensor." They added that their Data Universe subnet is "already the largest open-source social media dataset repository in the world - and now ready to flow into Rayon's agents."

With the launch just completed, the partnership positions Rayon Labs' Squad platform to potentially make significant strides in bringing decentralized AI agents to a broader audience.
